Slated / DanzaLearn

Learn to the music,
then dance.

Play a song and a lesson recording at the same time. Their volumes trade places in a slow wave, so sometimes you lean in to catch the lesson and sometimes you let the music carry you. Then the lesson stops and you dance.

  1. 1 · LearnMusic and lesson together, volumes swaying.
  2. 2 · DanceMusic only. Move.
  3. 3 · RestQuiet, then go again.

Why two tracks at once

It's John Mobley's idea, and we're trying it out: when the music is louder you have to strain to hear the lesson, and when the lesson is louder you have to let the song go. The song you learned to may bring the lesson back later, and the dance break gives your body a turn. We're not claiming results; this player is how you can try it.

The volumes follow a sin² and cos² wave, so one track rises as the other falls and neither ever goes fully silent while you learn.
